She always makes me smile!

I love my baby girl! She has the biggest personality and just keeps me smiling! She was sporting her new hat and boots this day and you would have thought she ruled the world! She is such a happy girl!

This sweet baby girl is only 3 weeks old. Her family has been praying for her for a very long time...and 3 weeks ago, they were all united by the miracle of adoption. What a wonderful Thanksgiving this family will have!

November is Adoption Awareness Month...

"Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own. Never forget for a single minute, you didn't grow under my heart, but in it." November is Adoption Awareness Month. There are an estimated 147 million orphans in the world today. Something to consider? I have been so blessed through the miracle of adoption!

Our family has been so blessed! We have 2 amazing children who came to us through adoption. Their circumstances are their own, their stories are unique to them but in the end they both ended up in the same family. Our family. We here often "they are so lucky'...and the truth is, WE are the lucky ones. WE are the ones who have been blessed by each of them. God led us through both of their adoptions and has continued to lead us as parents. We love our children unconditionally and feel honored to be their parents.

Because of our journey through adoption, we truly understand the emotions and stress that can come from the process. The end is joyful, wonderful and when you hold your child for the first time...all the stress and emotional roller-coaster is worth it....and you would do it all over again! I love to meet other families through adoption. I love to see the unconditional love that crosses boundaries:: biological boundaries, cultural boundaries, race boundaries. God is good!

Because of my passion for adoption, I offer a free session to families through adoption. The session can be for the new child alone, siblings, or family portraits. Your choice! The child must be home less than 30 days. The session will be for 1 hour and will include an online gallery, face book previews and a CD of final images with a print release.

I ask that you please spread the word as you never know who may be in the process of adopting. :)

The time is here! It is time for those Holiday Mini Sessions!

Let's face it...this is a BUSY time of year!
Let's see, we have Halloween, the Peanut Festival, Thanksgiving, Christmas and all the parties and events in between. Life is busy for all of us! And I hate to remind you...but it's almost time to send out your holiday cards. So, to help you out, I am offering Mini-Sessions...perfect for the busy family, and just in time to get that perfect picture(s) for your holiday card. And you know all the Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Neighbors, Friends, Co-workers....(do I need to go on???)...want new pictures of your precious family! Mini-Session includes:

1. 30 minutes session
2. Time spent on any post production/edits (crops, black/white, text, etc)
3. Online gallery to share with your family and friends (can be password protected if you choose)

5. Your choice from a variety of Holiday cards, personalized with picture(s) of choice and text of your choice. Card will be 'print your own' and finished design will be given to you in digital form. (optional designs and printing are available for an addt'l fee).
6. CD of finished images with a print release.

Soccer Gallery...

Today we ended our first season of soccer. Our son had a great time, made some new friends and has decided that he really likes soccer. :)

Here is the link to the GALLERY...it is password protected. If you are a parent to a child on this team and you either forgot the password, or I forgot to tell you (yeah, I know that's more likely! ha!), please shoot me an email and let me know who your child is and I will share the password with you.

PARENTS: I have setup the shopping cart for this gallery. Prints are 'at cost' and the purchase will be between you and the photo lab if you choose to order. I am not charging for any of these pictures because this is our son's team, and I've simply enjoyed this 'season'. And, my son is in a lot of the shots! ha!

If you do NOT want to order from this lab and/or want to use a local lab, shoot me an email and tell me which prints you are interested in. I can always email them to you or send a disc of it's too many.

KIDS...you did a great job this season! I'm so glad you all had fun!!!!!

Fall break!

Fall break is hear for some of our local schools. I still have a couple of afternoons open for some outdoor sessions. The weather should be great this week! Email me soon if you want to book an afternoon session.  Talk to you soon!
